Many injured in new suicide bombing in Israel

There has been another suicide bomb attack in Israel, this time in the coastal city of Tel Aviv. The bomber died on the scene torn to pieces. 14 others were injured. The bomber set off the explosives on a street in a rundown neigbourhood where many immigrants live. Some of the injured appeared to have been sitting in cafe when the blast occured. Israeli security officials had been warning the population in recent days to be on their guard because they expected Palestinian extremists to launch fresh attacks. Just last Tuesday two Israeli women were killed in Jerusalem when a Palestinian gunman opened fire in a shopping district. After several weeks of relative calm there has been a surge in violence between the Israelis and Palestinians and Hamas had vowed to use suicide bomb attacks against civilians in what it said would be a "all out war." In the past, the Israeli government has been swift to respond to these sort of attacks and there could be reprisals soon.
